Read some crazy, funny and sweet Holi experiences. Nisha, 16 – Holi is my favourite festival. My girlfriends and I stay up all night filling balloons. But last year in my colony, some boys started throwing eggs and rotten tomatoes; we tried so hard to dodge them but they got us anyway. So this year we’ve kept some tomatoes to rot and are buying loads of eggs to get back at them. Wish us luck! Pooja, 18 – I always thought Holi is such an eeky festival, besides am allergic to colour. But this one year my friends convinced me to join them for a rain dance. They said there won’t be any colour just water so I tagged along. Sure enough there were water sprinklers everywhere and people were seen dancing and getting wet. I relaxed and started to enjoy myself too, when all of a sudden; my crazy friends picked me up and threw me in a muck pool! I was soo grossed out. I haven’t played Holi ever since. Rhea, 19 – I had a huge crush on this guy from the opposite building and we had been exchanging glances for ages. Then last Holi I went with my friends to the beach to celebrate. He was there with his group of friends and we all got into a water fight! This broke the ice between us and we spent the entire day at the beach together. Oh, by the way this Holi we complete a year together.
