FAIR FIGHTING HOW TO SURVIVE A BREAK-UP GOT A QUESTION FOR NISHA? PMS
Can it be cured?
Consider any one of the scenarios - your have a fractured wrist or a really bad throat infection. Would you wait for your wrist to heal by itself without being checked and bandaged? Or would you think of the throat infection as a punishment for something? We are sure you would consult the doctor or your parents and then deal with it. In the same way you need to deal with depression by seeking help. It is an illness and you need to treat it at the earliest.

Be honest with yourself. If you think you have some of the symptoms mentioned above, don't wait for the symptoms to vanish on their own. They will not. Talk to your parents, family doctor, or another trusted adult - teacher, school counsellor, anyone you trust and who will be able to guide you. It is not anything to be ashamed of.

By the way, a symptom of depression is hopelessness. So if you are reading this thinking "nobody can help me", you already have one symptom!
