He says: 'It's not you , it's me..."
He means: Uh oh, not this old line. When a guy trots this one out, it means he doesn't want to go out with you anymore. At the same time, he doesn't want to hurt your feelings by telling you the real reason. It may not be original but at least he's trying to spare your feelings. THAT still does not make him a good guy!
He says:"Isn't Aishwarya Rai gorgeous?"
He means: Aishwarya Rai is gorgeous. There's nothing more or less to this one - he's simply stating an obvious fact. He is not trying to compare you to her, have a dig at you or say that he prefers her looks to yours. Guys aren't that clever you know and for once, what he says is what he means!
He says: Are you going to the party this weekend?"
He means: I'd really like you to go with me but I'm too shy to ask you out on a date properly so I hope you'll take the hint. If a guy's interested in you, sometimes he'll try and ask you out in a roundabout way that spares him any chance of being rejected.
He says: 'If you really liked me, you would..."
He means: I'm a thoughtless bully who thinks it's OK to try and make my girlfriend do something she doesn't want to do just so I can brag about it to my friend. Stay away and Don't do whatever it is he's trying to emotionally blackmail you into.
He says: "Tendulkar should be captain and Ganguly should be ..."
He means: Whatever he means, we've got no idea what it is! Probably, he's really into cricket. It is better you ask your dad about this!
He says: "I'll call you."
He means: Tricky one this. In some cases he will actually mean he's going to call you, in some cases, he will call. However, sometimes this one means the exact opposite. He could be giving you the brush off but just can't think of a more original way to do the deed. Only way to tell if he says what he means on this one is...if he calls you or not!
He says: "I love you..."
He means: He loves you, right now. Guys aren't as good at girls at playing emotional games so if he says the "L" word, there's a good chance he means it. He might not mean forever . . . then again, he just may! But, for your sanity, don't read too much into it right now. Get to know him better. When he does say it, it's because he's got very strong feelings for you, may be just for now, may be forever. Either ways, Lucky You!
